Annual Denver/Tripoli Art Trips

2004 - Chicago
2005 - St. Louis
2006 - Minneapolis
2007 - Kansas City
2008 - Chicago

Giving students the opportunity to travel, with an itinerary devoted to art, has become a fantastic highlight of the year.  The Denver and Tripoli high school art students have been taking art trips together since 2004.  Art teachers, Diane Johnson and Kristi Schult, have worked together to organize trips out of state, giving students different views of art and chances to investigate new horizons.  Seeing Grant Woods, American Gothic, traveling to the top of the St. Louis Arch, and standing by Clas Oldenberg's Spoon Bridge with Cherry are among moments in time these participants won't soon forget.
